ROMANI Beyond the Image: Travelling Stories of Courage, Sharing, and Community
One Traveling exhibition, three stops… and countless voices that find their image.
The Traveling photo exhibition under the project #ROMANI is more than an artistic event – it is a living process of sharing, making sense and connecting. Created using the Photovoice method, the exhibition brings together the personal points of view of women who tell their stories not in words, but through the power of image.

Each shot is a reflection of an experience – an emotion, a memory, a reality that often remains invisible. Behind the lens stand women who choose to be heard, to be understood, and to show the world as they see it. Their photographs don’t just document — they speak, provoke, reveal and invite dialogue.

The first stop of the exhibition marked the beginning of this journey, a meeting in which the images sounded with their sincerity and authenticity. The second stop opened up a space for conversations, for shared emotions and for new points of view. The third became a profound experience, a place where stories were not just seen but felt.
With each subsequent “stop”, the exhibition unfolds a new layer of human stories and creates an opportunity for a real meeting – between people, worlds and experiences. It doesn’t just move through different spaces – it goes through the hearts of the people who meet it.

This is not just an exhibition of photographs. This is a space to share. A space for understanding. A space for community.
Behind each frame is a woman.
Behind each photo is a personal story.
Behind every story is the courage to be seen and heard.
This exhibition invites us to slow down and look beyond the surface. Let’s look at the details. To feel the emotion. Let’s hear what often goes unsaid.
